A significant moment at the State House, Abuja, as the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, was invested as the Grand Matron of the Nigerian Red Cross Society.

Receiving the honour during a courtesy visit by the leadership of the Nigerian Red Cross Society and its international partners, the First Lady reaffirmed the importance of humanitarian service, compassion and support for vulnerable communities across the country.

The investiture featured her decoration as Grand Matron, presentation of a plaque of recognition, and a commemorative First Aid Kit from the Nigerian Red Cross Society.

The event was attended by representatives of the Nigerian Red Cross Society, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, as well as partners from the British and Norwegian Red Cross.
